In an emergency, every second is precious. When the time for action comes, you will be able to take life-saving actions using the skills and techniques taught in this course. Atkinson, WI 53538 “The five minutes of bystander action (or inaction) very likely makes the difference between life or death.” – Michael Martin, Author, Emergency First Aid Fundamentals (2017) Training: You will get hands-on training with a tourniquet, an emergency compression bandage (i.e. Israeli Bandage, Trauma Bandage), wound packing with z-fold gauze and more. Included in tuition: 1: 2 hours of training from a USCCA certified instructor 2: Copy of the book "Emergency First Aid Fundamentals" from the USCCA ($35.00 value) 3: Hands-on training with a CAT type tourniquet, a SWAT-T tourniquet, a compression/trauma bandage and wound packing with z-fold gauze. 4: Includes a free Rothco brand MOLLE Tactical Trauma Kit! Our Save a Life, Stop the Bleed class will teach you lifesaving techniques and give you the skills to use your trauma kit in the event of an emergency. You will learn how to properly assess a patient and how to deal with significant issues such as venous and arterial bleeding, penetrating chest injuries, and more.
